15 Apr Government grants on A1 and A2 category motorcycles

New Government grants have just been announced:

When buying a 125cc motorcycle you are eligible for a €1000 grant

When buying an A2 category motorcycle (up to 48bhp), you are eligible for a €750 grant

Together with the above grants if you scrap a motorcycle older than 10 years you get €500 grant, if you scrap a car or light van you get €1000 grant.

Grants are available until funds last.

Note: If you bought a motorcycle that falls in the above categories from 1st January 2021 you are also eligible to apply for these grants.
